Boba Tea took center stage at the 16th Sharjah Children’s Reading Festival (SCRF 2025), where kids aged 12 and up joined a hands-on workshop to learn how to make the trendy drink.
Led by Aurora Sitjar from Skilldeer, the session was filled with energy as children simmered tapioca pearls, decorated cups with chocolate syrup, and chose between classic milk tea or fruity flavors.
Twelve-year-old Hezza Zayan summed it up: “Now I can make it at home whenever I want!”
Part of SCRF’s vibrant cookery programme, the workshop blended fun, creativity, and life skills—capturing the spirit of a festival that’s all about learning through play.
Running until May 4 at Expo Centre Sharjah, SCRF 2025 continues to inspire young minds, one sip at a time.
