Hey Tea, the globally celebrated milk tea brand known for pioneering cheese foam teas, is officially making its Maryland debut.
Permanent signage has gone up at 891-F Rockville Pike in Wintergreen Plaza, Rockville, signaling the arrival of the state’s first Hey Tea location.
The new store is nestled between Wingstop and Paisano’s Pizza, in the space formerly occupied by Sweetfrog.
Founded in 2012 in Guangdong, China, by then-teen entrepreneur Neo Nie, Hey Tea has grown into a trendsetting powerhouse in the global tea scene.
The brand made its U.S. debut last summer with a flagship store in New York City’s Broadway district and has since expanded to California and Tysons Corner, Virginia.
The upcoming Rockville location will spotlight Hey Tea’s signature offerings across three main categories: Refreshing Real Fruit Teas, Real Dairy Milk Teas, and Refreshing Finest Teas.
Among the fan-favorite items expected on the menu are the Very Grape Cheese (Original), Mango Grapefruit Sago, Roasted Brown Bobo Milk (Original), and the Regal Aqua Green Jasmine Cheese (Original).
