Molly Tea Opens Three New Locations In Melbourne

Molly Tea, the popular Chinese tea brand founded in Shenzhen in 2021, is making its mark in Melbourne with the opening of three new stores, including a flagship location on Swanston Street.

This move follows the brand’s successful debut in Sydney’s Haymarket last year and the opening of two additional sites in the Harbour City earlier this year.

The brand is gaining a loyal following in Australia, thanks to its unique offering of premium jasmine-infused tea. Molly Tea’s flagship store on Swanston Street, as well as its other new locations at 399 Elizabeth St and Sky One Box Hill, will open on Thursday, April 17, inviting locals to experience the brand’s signature blends.

Molly Tea’s ethos is rooted in the Four White Flowers of the East (四君子) — plum blossom, orchid, bamboo, and chrysanthemum — and each tea is made from top-quality mountain leaves, naturally scented with fresh flowers for a rich, sensory experience.

The menu features three key product lines: the Fresh Milk Tea Series, the Fresh Oat Milk Tea Series, and the Snowy Whipped Series, which combines tea with a delicate, jasmine-infused whipped cream.

To celebrate the Melbourne launch, Molly Tea will host a four-day event at its Swanston Street store. From April 17–18, customers who make a purchase and leave a Google review will receive a complimentary tea-scented sachet.

On April 19–20, the first 100 customers to buy two drinks will receive a limited-edition black Dupont bag and a rabbit-shaped candle, with customers 101–200 getting the candle as well. Those unable to attend the opening weekend can still enjoy special offers from April 21–23, including a half-price second drink from a select menu.

Whether you’re a tea enthusiast or new to the scene, Molly Tea’s Melbourne launch promises plenty of opportunities to explore its distinctive, jasmine-forward beverages.
