Bopomofo, a renowned Taiwanese boba tea shop located in San Gabriel Valley, is expanding its presence with a new location at Downtown Disney, set to feature a unique concept inspired by Asian convenience stores.
The new venture, named Bopo Go (stylized as Bopo Go!), was announced on April 1 via the Disney Parks Blog, although an official opening date has yet to be revealed.
Bopo Go will offer a selection of Bopomofo’s beloved signature drinks, including jasmine tea, strawberry corn milk, brown sugar pudding milk tea, and a variety of matcha options. In addition to these beverages, the store will showcase a curated assortment of imported snacks, candies, and small bites.
The menu will also highlight creative items such as mapo tofu-inspired mapo tots, a spicy Taiwanese chicken sandwich, and Hainan chicken tacos.
Tacos Frontera, a beloved taqueria from Cypress Park renowned for its al pastor, is opening a larger second location in Silver Lake. The new spot, located in the same strip mall as Hot Tongue Pizza, is expected to open on Cinco de Mayo.

Los Angeles-based smash burger restaurant The Window (stylized as the Win~Dow) is expanding outside of the city with a new location in Santa Barbara, set to open this May.
The Santa Barbara location will offer the restaurant’s popular $4.35 cheeseburger, $8 grain bowl, and a highly praised fried chicken sandwich. This marks the first expansion outside Los Angeles for The Window.
