Gong Cha, the globally renowned Taiwanese bubble tea brand, is set to open two new stores in Essex, marking a significant milestone in its UK expansion. The new locations will be in Hornchurch at 156-158 High Street and in Romford at The Brewery. These openings are part of the brand’s broader plan to bring its premium bubble tea offerings to more customers across the UK.
Founded in Taiwan in 2006, Gong Cha has become a household name worldwide, known for its high-quality, freshly brewed teas made with premium ingredients. With over 2,100 stores in more than 28 markets, Gong Cha has built a loyal customer base by offering customizable drinks that cater to a wide range of tastes and preferences.
At the new Hornchurch and Romford locations, customers will be able to personalize their bubble tea drinks, selecting from options like brown sugar tapioca pearls, fruit jellies, and a variety of base teas. With over 600 possible product combinations, Gong Cha promises to deliver a unique and personalized beverage experience for every customer.
Gong Cha works with exclusive suppliers and tea growers across Asia to ensure the finest quality, emphasizing the use of whole-leaf tea to create exceptional, flavor-rich drinks. As part of its UK expansion, Gong Cha is set to open over 225 new stores in the country by the end of the year.
