Ribbons Tea House: A West Valley Favorite With Filipino-Inspired Homemade Teas

Ribbons Tea House in Litchfield Park, Arizona, is a beloved family-run business offering a unique combination of delicious teas, boba, and Filipino-inspired baked goods.

Established in 2015 by Joel Mounce and his wife, the tea house quickly became a community staple, attracting both locals and students from nearby schools.

With over 50 different tea blends available hot or iced, Ribbons Tea House prides itself on offering fresh, flavorful drinks made without powders or overly sweet additives.

The Mounces focus on crafting everything from scratch, including tapioca boba and fruit-flavored jellies, giving customers the option to customize their drinks or enjoy them traditionally, without sweeteners. A favorite among regulars is the Mediterranean pomegranate green tea, known for its antioxidants and natural sweetness.

In addition to its impressive tea selection, Ribbons Tea House is well-known for its Filipino-inspired baked goods, such as ube cake with rich ube ganache and ube cheesecake, made fresh every morning by Joel’s wife.

The shop also serves affordable snacks like chips, paninis, and popcorn chicken, making it a perfect after-school hangout for local students.

Ribbons Tea House is not just about great drinks and food—it’s also about fostering a safe, welcoming space for the community. Located near Litchfield Elementary School and other local schools, the tea house has become a popular spot for students to unwind after class.

Joel, a former district volunteer, is proud that his shop continues to be a safe haven for youth, with his daughter, Sereena, now working at the shop after growing up in the area.

Whether you’re looking for a refreshing drink, a Filipino-inspired treat, or just a cozy place to relax, Ribbons Tea House offers it all.
