The University Boba Tea House has officially opened its doors at 2828 E. Bearss Ave., in the Palms Connection plaza, offering boba tea enthusiasts a fresh and exciting place to enjoy their favorite drinks.
Co-owned by Dr. Michael LoGuidice and Dr. Steve Tersheshee, both emergency room physicians, this new location makes it easier for New Tampa residents to indulge in a wide variety of unique boba tea flavors and enjoy a vibrant, fun atmosphere.
Formerly known as Dr. Steve’s International Boba Tea House, the revamped University Boba Tea House maintains its signature flair for innovative boba flavors.
In addition to classics like mango, peach, and strawberry, the new location introduces exciting options like “Tiramisu” (a blend of taro, mocha, and cappuccino), “Pikachu” (mango, peach, pineapple, and banana), and “Purple Rain” (lavender, blueberry, almond, and taro). There are more than three dozen boba tea options available, including both bursting and jelly-style bobas.
The menu also features 16 varieties of Latte Tea, including Chai Tea Latte, Lavender Latte, and Lychee Latte, as well as fresh-brewed loose leaf black, Thai, and jasmine green teas. For snacks, guests can enjoy freshly baked muffins, including cinnamon crunch and double chocolate, as well as ramen noodles. A unique “Pucker Powder Candy Art” vending machine offers powdered candy in various flavors with a lower sugar content.
The University Boba Tea House isn’t just about drinks and snacks – it’s also a hub for community engagement. The new location includes a USF student art gallery, a stage for live performances, and a wide range of events such as Open Mic, Karaoke, and live music every night of the week (except Sunday).
The café is open daily from noon to midnight and offers a variety of activities for both students and adults, making it the perfect spot for socializing and relaxation.
