Tealive, the popular milk tea brand, is set to make a significant mark in Thailand, with plans to open 80 outlets over the next decade. This expansion follows its recent entry into the Indian market and highlights Tealive’s commitment to growing its global presence in countries with strong tea cultures.
Bryan Loo, Founder and CEO of Loob Holding Sdn Bhd, announced that Restaurants Development Co Ltd (RD), a subsidiary of Devyani International Ltd in India, will serve as Tealive’s Master Franchisee in Thailand. Loo emphasized that RD’s extensive network and industry experience will play a pivotal role in Tealive’s success in the Thai market.
Tealive plans to introduce its lifestyle tea concept to Thailand, offering not only a variety of teas but also handcrafted beverages like coffee, premium chocolate, fruit smoothies, and their signature snacks. This move will complement Thailand’s rich tea culture while providing local consumers with exciting new options.
With RD already having a presence in hundreds of locations across Thailand, Tealive is poised to leverage this established infrastructure. While specific store locations are still being finalized, the company aims to reach 80 outlets within the next 10 years.
Loo reiterated that Tealive’s growth strategy is centered on scalability, emphasizing collaboration with local partners to ensure the brand’s offerings resonate with Thai consumers while maintaining its high standards of quality and innovation.
