Craft Boba, a new bubble tea cafe, has officially opened at 3rd Street Market Hall, reviving the beloved milk tea trend in the food hall for the first time since the closure of Make Waves in May 2024. This new spot, run by Zaw Naing Win and Khin Sabei Win, is located in a hawker stall next to Fonzarelli’s Italian Deli, filling the space once occupied by Shuckers Crab Shack & Oyster Bar.
Craft Boba offers a wide variety of drinks, including milk teas, refreshers, milkshakes, and yogurt drinks, with unique flavors like Taro Magic, Mystic Matcha, and Mango Bliss. Customers can customize their drinks with toppings such as brown sugar boba, strawberry and mango popping boba, rainbow jelly, and milk pudding. Dairy-free and lactose-free options are also available upon request.
This new addition is part of several recent openings at the market, alongside other vendors like Pop City and the Italian deli. Creta Mediterranean Grill will also be joining soon, replacing Goodland Greens.
Craft Boba operates Monday through Wednesday and Friday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
