New Bubble Tea And Frozen Dessert Spot To Open In Richmond’S Union Square

Richmond’s Union Square Shopping Centre is about to welcome a new, independent bubble tea and dessert concept—Binggo. After the closure of Machi Machi‘s last BC location, many were curious about what would take over the vacant unit. Now, the wait is over as Binggo’s colorful signs have been spotted, revealing the brand’s new presence.

Though there isn’t much information available online about Binggo, it seems to be an independent, fun-filled venture rather than a large chain. With playful, vibrant branding featuring adorable cartoon characters, Binggo promises a cheerful and whimsical atmosphere.

Binggo plans to serve a variety of treats, including ice jelly, bubble tea, bingsoo (Korean shaved ice), and ice cream. The brand emphasizes fresh, daily-made ingredients with low-fat and low-calorie options for a healthier twist on popular desserts and drinks.

As Union Square continues to evolve, Binggo’s unique approach stands out in a space filled with bubble tea chains. While the exact opening date and menu details remain under wraps, the arrival of Binggo marks an exciting new chapter for Richmond’s food scene.
