Nescafé Launches New Espresso Concentrate, Perfect For Milk Tea Lovers

Nescafé, the world’s leading coffee brand, is set to introduce its first liquid espresso concentrate in the United States, catering to the growing demand for versatile beverage options. With one-third of coffee consumed outside the home being cold, the Nescafé Espresso Concentrate offers consumers the ability to craft barista-style cold espresso drinks right from their kitchens.

This innovative product comes in two flavors: Nescafé Espresso Concentrate Black and Nescafé Espresso Concentrate Sweet Vanilla. The concentrate is designed to dissolve easily in water or milk, making it an ideal base for a variety of beverages, including popular milk tea blends.

As younger generations increasingly favor cold coffee, with 50% of Generation Z opting for iced options as their first cup, Nescafé aims to meet this trend by providing a customizable and convenient solution for at-home coffee enthusiasts. The concentrate allows users to mix it with ice and milk or water, enabling them to create their favorite drinks such as iced mochas or macchiatos effortlessly.

Axel Touzet, head of Nestlé’s coffee brands strategic business unit, emphasized the focus on younger consumers’ preferences for cold, convenient, and customizable premium coffee experiences. He stated, “Through the Nescafé Espresso Concentrate, we want to capture what younger generations are looking for: café-style beverages in an instant without any extra machinery.”

Made from 100% Arabica beans, each 300ml bottle of Nescafé Espresso Concentrate yields approximately 20 cups of espresso when prepared as directed. The product will be available at retailers across the US starting in February. Following a successful launch in China and Australia last year, Nescafé is excited to bring this innovative product to the American market.
