3Cat Handcrafted Beverage Opens Doors In Convoy District: A New Haven For Bubble Tea Lovers

A new bubble tea cafe has officially opened in the Convoy District, adding to the vibrant culinary landscape of San Diego. 3Cat Handcrafted Beverage, named after the owners’ beloved cats, is situated in the same plaza as Aree Bakery and Keep Coffee, close to Common Theory. With limited hours leading up to its grand opening on November 15, the cafe is generating excitement among local tea enthusiasts.

A Fresh Take on Bubble Tea

3Cat Handcrafted Beverage is dedicated to crafting high-quality beverages that prioritize fresh ingredients. The cafe specializes in drinks that feature creative toppings made in-house every morning, ensuring that customers receive only the best. Unlike many establishments that rely on syrups or artificial ingredients, 3Cat emphasizes natural flavors and fresh fruit in its offerings.

The menu includes a variety of tea options such as jasmine green tea, osmanthus oolong, and golden amber. These teas can be enjoyed on their own or serve as bases for milk teas and lattes. In addition to traditional tea selections, 3Cat offers an array of fruit drinks like Avomango Sweet Dew, Lime Explosion, Cheese Grape, and Super Orange, appealing to diverse palates.

Customizable Toppings for Unique Experiences

One of the standout features of 3Cat is its commitment to handcrafted toppings. Each day, the cafe prepares a selection of toppings that enhance the bubble tea experience. Customers can choose from a variety of options, including mousse and mochi made fresh every morning. The mochi comes in enticing flavors such as mango, matcha, and Oreo, while the mousse includes flavors like soybean, cheese, Oreo, and matcha—currently featured as a seasonal option.

In addition to these delightful toppings, 3Cat offers several add-ins such as mashed purple yam, osmanthus tea jelly, coconut jelly, and popping boba flavored with barley or water chestnut. This extensive selection allows patrons to customize their drinks according to their preferences, making each visit a unique experience.

Expansion Plans and Community Engagement

Originally launched in Los Angeles in 2019, 3Cat Handcrafted Beverage has quickly gained popularity with six locations in L.A. and one in Milpitas in Northern California. The owners have ambitious plans for further expansion throughout California, with hopes of opening additional locations in San Diego.

As the bubble tea trend continues to grow across the United States, 3Cat aims to establish itself as a premier destination for high-quality beverages that prioritize freshness and creativity. The opening of this cafe comes at a time when consumers are increasingly seeking unique beverage experiences that stand out in a crowded market.

Anticipation Builds for Grand Opening

With its grand opening set for November 15, excitement is building within the community for 3Cat Handcrafted Beverage. Local residents are eager to explore this new addition to the Convoy District’s food scene and indulge in the innovative offerings that 3Cat promises.

As bubble tea culture continues to flourish in San Diego and beyond, 3Cat Handcrafted Beverage is well-positioned to become a favorite spot for those looking for delicious drinks crafted with care.
