Andora’S Bubble Tea Pauses For Fall, Offers Limited-Time Specials At Erie Zooboo

Andora’s Bubble Tea Shop, located at 516 State St., has temporarily closed its doors for the fall and early winter for the first time in five years. Co-owners Rora and Andy Steinmetz made the decision to take a break and reevaluate the future direction of their beloved bubble tea shop.

“We’ve grown naturally over the years, and now we’re taking a moment to assess what works, what doesn’t, and what we envision for Andora’s moving forward,” Rora Steinmetz explained. The couple is currently exploring different business possibilities, including reopening another physical store, launching a food truck, or hosting pop-up events.

While the shop’s downtown location is closed, bubble tea enthusiasts can still enjoy Andora’s unique offerings. Their signature Halloween-themed drinks, including the fan-favorite Pumpkin Pie Pearl Milk with a cream cheese topper and tapioca pearls, are available at Erie Zoo’s ZooBoo event, running through October 30. A special food hut inside the zoo ensures fans won’t have to wait until spring to get their bubble tea fix.

“We’re weighing our options for the future and still want to stay connected with our community,” Rora added. “We’ll also be present at fall events, such as the Downtown Fall Fest on October 27.”

Bubble tea lovers are encouraged to stay updated through Andora’s Facebook page and website (andorasbubble.com) for news about future events and merchandise. Even though the shop is closed for the season, Andora’s continues to offer free local delivery and shipping for snacks and bubble tea-themed merchandise.

Looking ahead, Andora’s is the first bubble tea shop in Erie, sparking a local love for the drink and inspiring other bubble tea shops to open in the region, such as the nearby Tsaocha. As the Steinmetzes take time to plan the next chapter for their business, they remain committed to providing their customers with the delicious, innovative beverages they love.

“We’ve been contemplating this for a while, and after five years of hard work, we’re taking time to reflect on what’s next,” Rora said. “This is our opportunity to do some soul-searching and see where we want to take Andora’s in the future.”

With plans to finalize their next steps by early spring, Andora’s fans can look forward to exciting new developments on the horizon.
