Starbucks Launches New Iced Gingerbread Oatmilk Chai And Festive Cups To Celebrate The Holidays

The festive season is officially here, and Starbucks is ushering in the holiday spirit with the introduction of a new seasonal drink—Iced Gingerbread Oatmilk Chai—to its much-anticipated Christmas menu in the UK.

This exciting new addition is set to join Starbucks’ beloved holiday classics, including the Toffee Nut Latte, Gingerbread Latte, and Eggnog Latte, offering customers a refreshing twist on traditional festive flavors.

For over two decades, the Gingerbread Latte has been a staple of Starbucks’ festive offerings. This year, Starbucks reintroduces this iconic flavor with a dairy-free twist—the Iced Gingerbread Oatmilk Chai. Combining the creamy goodness of oat milk with the spicy warmth of black tea-infused cinnamon and other aromatic spices, this beverage brings the comforting flavors of gingerbread to life in every sip.

“It’s a love letter to gingerbread and ginger,” says Matt Thornton, Senior Beverage Developer at Starbucks. “The gingerbread flavor amplifies the spice of the chai, making it a truly festive and warming drink.”

The Iced Gingerbread Oatmilk Chai can be enjoyed cold for a refreshing treat or served warm for cozy comfort during colder months.

In addition to the new beverage, Starbucks is also rolling out its signature Christmas cups this season, designed by Bridget Shilling. The cups, blending traditional red and green colors, capture the essence of togetherness and joy—the theme of this year’s festive campaign, ‘Share the Joy’.

Kirsty Cameron, Creative Director at Starbucks, explains: “This year’s holiday theme is all about sharing the joy and celebrating our shared human experiences. The red cups are like little wrapped gifts, spreading excitement and warmth among our partners and customers.”

Each cup features a gift tag, giving coffee lovers the opportunity to share a personal note with a friend, making it the perfect festive gesture.

Starbucks UK customers will also be delighted to know that the brand’s elusive ‘secret menu’ is still alive and well, offering fun, custom drinks that fans can request. From the Kinder Bueno Frappuccino to the Butterbeer Frappuccino, inspired by the wizarding world, the secret menu is a treasure trove of exciting and offbeat drink combinations.

One popular secret menu creation is the Butterbeer Frappuccino, which replicates the taste of the famous “Butterbeer” from the Harry Potter franchise. To enjoy it, simply order a Vanilla Cream Frappuccino with three pumps of toffee nut syrup and three pumps of caramel syrup.

Other fan-favorite drinks on the secret menu include the Pumpkin Cheesecake Frappuccino and the Biscoff Frappuccino, ensuring there’s something for every taste.

With the introduction of the Iced Gingerbread Oatmilk Chai and the festive cups, Starbucks has set the stage for an exciting holiday season filled with cozy beverages, seasonal joy, and festive surprises.

The Iced Gingerbread Oatmilk Chai is available now at all UK Starbucks locations. Get yours today and experience the magic of the holiday season in every sip!
