Peach-Mango Cold Brew Tea As A Healthier Starbucks Refresher Alternative

In the ever-evolving world of coffee chains, Starbucks is renowned for its constant innovation, particularly with its popular Refreshers. Each season, Starbucks introduces a new array of flavors, ensuring that customers always have a refreshing option to enjoy. However, if you’re looking for a healthier, less sugary alternative, there’s an exciting new contender in the market: Teapig’s Peach-Mango Cold Brew Tea.

While I typically lean towards coffee, I have a soft spot for a well-crafted iced tea, especially one reminiscent of the raspberry iced tea my dad and I used to savor at our local diner. So, when I discovered Teapig’s Cold Brew Tea, which boasts a diverse range of fruity flavors and a commitment to sustainability, I was eager to explore its offerings.

Teapig’s Cold Brew Tea is available in several enticing flavors, including peach and mango, blackcurrant and raspberry, and lychee and rose. Each tea is designed to be brewed in cold water, making it an incredibly convenient option. To prepare, simply steep one of Teapig’s pyramid-shaped tea temples in a glass of cold water for seven minutes. For a more intense flavor, extend the steeping time, but the company recommends consuming it within eight hours to maintain freshness.

Among the three flavors I tried, each offered a unique taste experience:

Peach and Mango: This flavor stood out as my personal favorite. It beautifully captures the essence of Starbucks’ Mango Dragonfruit Refresher but without the added sugar. While a 16-ounce Mango Dragonfruit Refresher packs 19 grams of sugar (about 38% of the daily recommended limit), Teapig’s version relies on natural sweetness from ingredients like white hibiscus, apple, sweet blackberry leaves, beetroot, peach, and mango. The result is a naturally sweet, refreshing drink that I’ve gladly added to my weekly beverage rotation.

Blackcurrant and Raspberry: This flavor brought back nostalgic memories of the raspberry iced tea my dad and I used to enjoy. It’s a delightful choice for anyone who appreciates a classic fruity blend.

Lychee and Rose: Although I’m not typically a fan of floral flavors, the lychee and rose combination pleasantly surprised me. The rose didn’t overpower the fruity notes, and I even experimented by brewing it in cold sparkling water for a fizzy twist.

Teapig’s Cold Brew Teas offer more than just great taste—they align with sustainable values. The company is plastic-free and B Corp-certified, meeting high standards of social and environmental performance. For those who care about their health and the planet, choosing Teapig’s products is a win-win.

In conclusion, Teapig’s Cold Brew Teas provide a fantastic alternative to sugary Starbucks Refreshers. They offer a natural sweetness and a commitment to sustainability that is both refreshing and responsible. Whether you’re a fan of fruity iced teas or simply looking for a new, healthier beverage option, Teapig’s teas are worth a try. Not only will you reduce your sugar intake and save money, but you’ll also support a company dedicated to positive environmental impact.
