Twinings Sparkling Tea Line Offers Low-Calorie Refreshment With Wellness In Mind

Twinings has introduced a new line of ready-to-drink sparkling teas, designed to cater to the growing demand for functional beverages that offer both refreshment and health benefits.

The innovative collection includes three distinct flavors: Refresh – Juicy Raspberry Lemonade, Defence – Zesty Orange and Passionfruit, and Boost – Zingy Lemon and Ginger.

Each can of Twinings Sparkling Tea is enhanced with essential vitamins and minerals, such as antioxidant-rich vitamin C, while containing no artificial sweeteners, colors, or added sugars. With fewer than 50 calories per serving, the teas offer a guilt-free option for those looking for both taste and wellness.

Developed by Twinings’ Master Blenders and herbalists, these sparkling teas aim to provide a refreshing afternoon pick-me-up that also promotes well-being.

Unique Flavours with Health Benefits

Defence: A fusion of zesty orange, passionfruit, and elderberry, this blend is infused with Chinese green tea leaves. Fortified with zinc, along with vitamins C and D, it supports immune health.

Refresh: Juicy raspberry lemonade with hibiscus and Chinese white tea leaves, enriched with magnesium, niacin, and vitamin C to elevate mood and refresh the mind.

Boost: A combination of zingy lemon and ginger, infused with Indian black tea leaves. Fortified with vitamins B6, B12, and C, it provides a natural energy boost for the day.

Consumer feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, with 90% of participants in testing stating they would recommend the product, indicating it meets consumer expectations for both taste and functionality.

Gill Close, marketing director for Twinings UK & Ireland, expressed excitement about the launch, stating, “After years of research and development, we are delighted to bring Twinings Sparkling Tea to the market. Our goal is to encourage consumers to make small changes that positively impact their health and well-being.”

The introduction of Twinings Sparkling Tea follows the recent launch of Twinings Coolers, underscoring the brand’s commitment to expanding its range of cold beverages.

The new sparkling tea line will be available through several retailers, including Amazon, Holland & Barrett, and select Waitrose and Sainsbury’s stores, with a recommended retail price of £1.89 per can.
