The Latest Final Fantasy 14 Collaboration Offers Cute Keychains and an In-Game Mount. But You Have to Buy a Lot of Bubble Tea

The latest collaboration campaign between Final Fantasy 14 and bubble tea retailer Gong Cha is currently underway, promising to be a hit among fans who have a sweet tooth.

This crossover event offers players the chance to obtain an exclusive Porxie King mount for their in-game characters. To participate, customers need to purchase at least three teas in a single transaction at a participating Gong Cha store. This purchase will earn them a scratch card containing a unique code that can be redeemed on the Final Fantasy 14 website.

As with similar promotions, only one code can be redeemed per account. The promotion is valid while supplies last, and codes must be redeemed by September 4, likely a measure to prevent resellers from hoarding and selling codes later.

Running until August 28, the event also features three unique collaboration drinks for fans to enjoy: Fat Cat Brown Sugar Milk Tea, Fat Chocobo Mango Frozen Tea, and Cactuar Matcha Milk Tea. These drinks are served in special edition cups adorned with characters from Final Fantasy 14, adding an extra layer of charm to the experience.

Additionally, qualifying purchases will come with a commemorative keychain modeled after one of the collaboration drinks. The specific requirements to receive a keychain may vary by store and region, so Square Enix advises customers to inquire in-store for more details.

The promotion is available in both the US and the UK, though details about which specific stores are participating are somewhat limited. Interested fans are encouraged to visit their nearest Gong Cha location to check availability.

Final Fantasy 14 is currently available on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S. The game recently launched its latest expansion, Dawntrail, earlier this month.
