The renowned Thailand-based tea shop ChaTraMue has inaugurated its Singapore flagship store at Paya Lebar Quarter (PLQ), delighting Thai tea lovers in the city-state.
For those who have visited Thailand, ChaTraMue’s Thai teas are a familiar treat, often accompanied by a tin of their popular Thai tea mix brought back as a souvenir.
The new ChaTraMue outlet at PLQ offers an extensive menu featuring over 20 varieties of Thai teas, a signature milk series, Western-style coffees, drinking chocolates, and delectable soft serves.
Founded in 1945, ChaTraMue has a long-standing tradition of brewing teas using leaves from their own plantations in Chiang Rai. Known as the “Original Thai Tea” brand, ChaTraMue now boasts over 100 outlets across Asia, marking 75 years of tea-making excellence.
Embracing contemporary tea trends, ChaTraMue’s Thai teas at the new outlet will feature toppings such as tapioca pearls and brown sugar jelly. Signature items on the menu include Thai Milk Tea, Milk Green Tea, and Assam Red Tea.
For those who enjoy crafting their own Thai tea experience at home, ChaTraMue’s tea products will be available for purchase at the outlet.
Following the PLQ flagship store opening, ChaTraMue is set to expand further with a second outlet slated to open at 1 Raffles Place in late September.
