All the Rewards from the FFXIV X Gong Cha Collab & How to Get Them

In a latest partnership, FFXIV has once again joined forces with Gong Cha to introduce exclusive menu items and in-game rewards for players. Running from July 17 to August 28, 2024, the collaboration offers three special FFXIV-inspired drinks at Gong Cha stores: the Fat Cat Brown Sugar Milk Tea, the Fat Chocobo Mango Frozen Tea, and the Cactuar Matcha Milk Tea, each served in custom-designed cups.

Players purchasing three or more of these themed teas in a single transaction will receive a code for the exclusive Porxie King mount, a beloved pig-themed mount in the game. This mount will be delivered via in-game email upon code registration, with each account eligible to redeem one mount.

The redemption period for the mount code extends until September 4, 2024, ensuring a time-limited opportunity for players to claim this special reward. Unlike previous collab items that later appeared at inflated prices on resale platforms, such as eBay, this limited-time offer aims to maintain exclusivity.

While the Porxie King mount has been distributed previously through a Japan-exclusive Lawson collab, this marks the first opportunity for players outside Japan to obtain it. Past regional restrictions prevented North American and European players from accessing such exclusive items, highlighting this event’s inclusivity.

In addition to the in-game rewards, Gong Cha stores are also offering FFXIV-themed keychains, each store potentially having unique methods for distribution. Enthusiasts are advised not to miss out on these collectibles, as their future availability remains uncertain.

This collaboration underscores FFXIV’s commitment to engaging its global player base with unique, limited-time offerings and collectibles, fostering excitement within its community.
