These events serve as pivotal platforms for global foods, beverages, tea, and related products, catering exclusively to trade buyers initially and opening to the public on 17 August. Food Expo PRO continues to elevate its stature with pavilions representing countries and regions worldwide. Highlights include pavilions from Mainland China, Japan, Korea, Mexico, as well as ASEAN nations like Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines, creating a vibrant international food festival. Emphasizing industry trends, the “Food Science and Technology” zone will spotlight alternative and future food products, addressing the growing demand for sustainable diets. Notably, the exhibition will feature a dedicated “Halal Food & Beverage” section, underscoring its relevance in global markets.

The expo will showcase a diverse range of ready-to-eat meals, including regional specialties from provinces across Mainland China such as Fujian, Guizhou, Hunan, Sichuan, and Zhejiang. Concurrent seminars and forums will delve into the latest advancements and market insights, with the Food Tech Symposium focusing on technological innovations and sustainability in food manufacturing. Running parallel is the Hong Kong International Tea Fair, a hub for tea enthusiasts and industry professionals alike. Featuring a comprehensive display of teas, tea-related products, and tea ware, the fair includes the prestigious International Tea Event Space Design Competition 2024, promoting innovative tea-serving space designs. The Hong Kong International Tea Competition will recognize excellence across six categories, offering visitors the chance to taste award-winning teas on 17 August.

Promoting the unique culture of Hong Kong-style milk tea, the International and Greater Bay Area KamCha Competition will showcase top tea masters in a celebration of skill and flavor. Additional highlights include the 1st Hong Kong International Tea Culture Forum 2024, aimed at fostering global dialogue and promoting tea culture internationally. Both fairs will adopt HKTDC’s EXHIBITION+ model, blending physical and online components to enhance networking opportunities through platforms like Click2Match, open from 8 to 24 August. Concurrently, the International Conference of the Modernization of Chinese Medicine and Health Products will offer insights into traditional Chinese medicine, further enriching the event’s comprehensive offerings.
