Taiwanese Fruit Tea Chain Debuts in Sacramento: A Peek at the Menu

Sacramento welcomes a new addition to its beverage scene as the popular California chain of Taiwanese-style fruit tea shops, Yi Fang Taiwan Fruit Tea, opens its doors in the Elk Grove area.

Located at 8460 Elk Grove Blvd., Suite 300, Yi Fang Taiwan Fruit Tea commenced its soft opening on Friday, offering an enticing selection of fruit teas, tea lattes, and boba tea to patrons eager to sample its offerings. This marks the chain’s expansion to the eastern reaches of Northern California, as announced on their Instagram page.

“We look forward to having everyone for our grand opening when it comes!” expressed the boba store in a social media post.

David Chan, a representative of the store, stated that Yi Fang Taiwan Fruit Tea will operate on a limited schedule during its soft opening phase, gradually introducing its full menu in anticipation of its official grand opening.

“We’re still finalizing the exact date for the grand opening because we want to make sure our team is totally prepped to give our patrons the best boba experience possible, by using fresh ingredients, providing friendly service, the works!” Chan explained.

Exploring Yi Fang Taiwan Fruit Tea:

Yi Fang Taiwan Fruit Tea is renowned for its traditional Taiwanese premium tea offerings, as detailed on its website. With existing stores spread across California, including San Francisco, Berkeley, and Fremont, the chain also boasts a presence in Los Angeles, Pasadena, and Irvine.

Named after the owner’s grandmother, Yi Fang, the brand’s heritage stems from the Fang family’s multi-generational pineapple cultivation. The website recounts the story of Yi Fang, who transformed overripe golden pineapples into a delectable homemade jam, which eventually inspired the creation of Yi Fang Fruit Tea, incorporating her secret recipe.

A Glimpse at the Menu:

The beverage menu at Yi Fang Taiwan Fruit Tea emphasizes homemade organic cane sugar, seasonal fresh fruits, and natural ingredients. Fruit tea aficionados can savor flavors like pineapple, passion fruit, lychee, peach, and strawberry. Additionally, milk tea lattes and seasonal concoctions are available, offering a diverse range of flavors to suit every palate.

Customization is key at Yi Fang Taiwan Fruit Tea, with patrons able to personalize their drinks by selecting from an array of toppings, including boba, sago, or jelly.

Operating Hours:

During the soft opening phase, Yi Fang Taiwan Fruit Tea will operate from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, extending its hours to 11:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, providing ample opportunities for tea enthusiasts to indulge in their offerings.
