Pocatello, Idaho – In the heart of the Gem State, a local food truck has ignited a culinary sensation with its fusion of savory cheesy creations and luscious boba tea.
Enter Melted Magic, a brainchild of Pocatello resident Vickie Santiago, who, alongside her daughter Amanda, embarked on a flavorful journey, leaving behind corporate confines to pursue their passion for cooking.
“Surprisingly, I was in finance before this,” shared Santiago. “For 23 years, I climbed the corporate ladder, but my true joy lies in the kitchen. So, we took a leap of faith and traded in our suits for aprons.”
The journey began with the idea of introducing boba tea to the community, but Santiago’s culinary prowess soon expanded the menu to include a tantalizing array of grilled cheese sandwiches, mac and cheese, and loaded home fries.
“People always loved my cooking, so I thought, ‘Let’s bring some food to the table too,'” remarked Santiago. “After researching popular food options, we realized the untapped potential of grilled cheese in our area, and that’s how Melted Magic came to life.”
At Melted Magic, patrons are treated to a customizable boba tea experience, featuring a variety of drink bases and flavorful boba options. The menu also boasts specialty drinks like Tiger Tea and Strawberry Cream Tea, each a delightful blend of sweet indulgence.
Complementing the beverages are Melted Magic’s specialty melts, including the TBA with oven-roasted turkey breast, bacon, and avocado, and the Philly, a savory combination of premium steak and grilled onions.
But the real magic lies in Melted Magic’s loaded mac and cheese and home fries, each offering a comforting embrace of cheesy goodness.
“We’re thrilled to be part of the community’s culinary landscape,” expressed Santiago. “Whether it’s at the farmers’ market or catering events, we’re committed to spreading joy, one cheesy bite at a time.”
