Wong Fu Fu Introduces XXL Milk Tea with 1KG of Pearls: A Gastronomic Adventure

In the realm of oversized delicacies, Wong Fu Fu unveils its latest creation: the XXL Milk Tea, a colossal beverage that surpasses expectations in both size and flavor. Weighing in at more than 5kg and served in a cup larger than life itself, this mammoth bubble tea is a culinary marvel available for a limited time only.

Dubbed the Ultimate Mega Bubble Milk Tea, this gargantuan concoction is not for the faint of heart. Upon its arrival, my colleague and I were astounded by the sheer magnitude of the cup. Each serving boasts a whopping 5 liters of milk tea, accompanied by a generous portion of 1kg worth of pearls and colossal grass jelly balls.

To put it into perspective, a medium-sized milk tea cup typically holds about 500ml, meaning that it takes a total of 10 cups to create the Ultimate Mega Bubble Milk Tea. Priced at $28.80++ per cup, the value is undeniable, equating to approximately $2.88++ per regular-sized cup—a true testament to cost-efficient indulgence.

Customers have the liberty to customize their experience, from choosing the amount of toppings to adjusting the sugar syrup level. Options range from an entire cup of sugar syrup for a 50% sugar level to half a cup for a lighter 25% sweetness.

While tackling this culinary behemoth may seem daunting, fear not, as hygiene concerns are addressed with individual cups for each serving. And for those planning to embark on this gastronomic adventure with friends, rest assured that sharing is encouraged, as leftover milk tea cannot be taken away.

For weekday lunchgoers between 12pm and 5pm, the XXL milk tea is complimentary with a minimum spend of $168. Alternatively, indulge in Wong Fu Fu’s buffet priced at $228 or above, available daily from 5pm to 10pm.

In other tea-related news, be sure to explore Amps Tea, a burgeoning tea bar with over 10 outlets across Singapore, or venture into the hidden gem that is Happy Cup, an under-the-radar bubble tea shop in Tanjong Pagar with roots dating back to 1996. With a myriad of options to satisfy your bubble tea cravings, the vibrant landscape of Singapore’s tea culture awaits exploration.
