Downtown Bellevue is about to welcome a fresh addition to its vibrant culinary scene with the impending arrival of Choo Tea. As per a permit issued by the City of Bellevue, this new boba tea shop is poised to open its doors on the bustling 108th Ave NE.
Choo Tea aims to delight locals with a tantalizing array of offerings, including fruit tea, milk tea, coffee, egg waffles, sandwiches, and more. The establishment’s layout will be thoughtfully divided into distinct sections, comprising a welcoming dining area, front desk, efficient kitchen, and convenient storage space.
Nestled within the Bellevue Plaza building, alongside the esteemed Bake’s Place, Choo Tea is primed to become a cherished destination in downtown Bellevue. Known for its lively jazz performances, Bake’s Place has been a cornerstone of the city’s nightlife since its inception in 2012.
While Choo Tea marks an exciting addition to Bellevue’s culinary landscape, it joins the ranks of other esteemed boba tea destinations in the vicinity. Notably, ChiCha San Chen, which opened in 2023 on 105th Avenue Northeast, boasts freshly brewed boba made from toasted tea leaves sourced from their very own plantation.
Moreover, The Whale Tea, established in 2022 on Bellevue Way Northeast, has garnered acclaim for its commitment to using natural ingredients, resulting in beverages crafted with milk, cream, chai, and fresh fruit.
With Bellevue already boasting a diverse selection of bubble tea options, including Tra Tea and Juice Bar, Kung Fu Tea, and Mi Tea, the imminent arrival of Choo Tea adds another dimension to the city’s flourishing boba tea culture.
As anticipation builds for the grand opening of Choo Tea, downtown Bellevue is poised to become an even more vibrant hub of culinary delights, offering residents and visitors alike an array of options to satiate their boba cravings.
