Vietnamese Boba Tea Shop ‘DOTTEA’ Set to Debut in Dorchester

Exciting news is brewing in Dorchester as the eagerly anticipated opening of DOTTEA, a new boba tea shop, draws near. Nestled at 1700 Dorchester Ave., this charming establishment is poised to introduce the vibrant flavors of Vietnamese boba milk tea and fruit tea to the neighborhood.

Owner Cee Nguyen, in collaboration with his wife Gigi, is on a mission to bring authentic Vietnamese beverages and snacks to the community. With a commitment to quality and authenticity, all ingredients will be sourced directly from Vietnam, ensuring an unparalleled taste experience for patrons.

Situated within a mixed-use building recently completed, DOTTEA will occupy the ground floor, offering a cozy ambiance for guests to savor their favorite drinks and treats. Above the retail space, studio, one, and two-bedroom apartments add to the dynamic atmosphere of the locale.

In addition to a tantalizing selection of boba milk tea and fruit tea, patrons can look forward to indulging in Vietnamese coffee, as well as delectable waffles and crepes. Building upon the success of Ban Toi, a nearby Vietnamese restaurant also owned by Nguyen, DOTTEA aims to further enrich the culinary landscape of Dorchester while fostering a sense of community connection.

Though an official opening date for DOTTEA has yet to be announced, eager patrons can anticipate further updates later this spring. Keep an eye out for more details as the countdown to the grand opening begins. Get ready to embark on a flavor-filled journey at DOTTEA, where every sip tells a story of tradition and taste.
