YAAAS Tea Celebrates Opening of First Kosher Boba Tea Shop on Long Island

Great Neck, NY – In a groundbreaking move for the Long Island culinary scene, YAAAS Tea, a renowned boba tea chain, has achieved kosher certification for its Great Neck location. With nine existing establishments across Long Island, this certification marks the first official kosher-certified Boba Tea (Bubble Tea) shop in the region, solidifying its commitment to providing authentic and dedicated boba offerings.

Located in the heart of the business district and the local Jewish community, YAAAS Tea’s Great Neck establishment has received accolades for its non-kosher chain, earning the title of the best bubble tea on Long Island for the past four consecutive years (2021-2024).

YAAAS Tea boasts an extensive menu featuring an array of tantalizing options, including bobas, teas, coffees, and desserts. Notable selections include the Brown Sugar BOBO, Iced Pumpkin Pie Brûlée, a variety of milk teas (both hot and cold), diverse coffee cold brews, hot and iced coffees and lattes, iced teas, and a selection of delectable baked sweet items.

For those unfamiliar with boba tea, it is a Taiwanese beverage concoction that typically includes milk, tea, water, sugar, and tapioca pearls, affectionately known as “boba.” YAAAS Tea distinguishes itself with the tagline “Fresh Boba: Every Hour on the Hour,” ensuring patrons enjoy the highest quality boba in their teas.

While YAAAS Tea’s kosher certification is a recent development, the establishment’s operational hours are still being finalized. Anticipated hours include Sunday to Thursday from 11:30 am to 8 or 9 pm, Fridays until one hour before Shabbat commences, and opening Saturday nights one hour after Shabbat concludes.

Under the kosher certification of the VHQ, the Great Neck location at 62 Middle Neck Rd. stands as the sole YAAAS Tea establishment currently holding this designation. To savor their kosher-certified products, patrons can conveniently order through UberEats, DoorDash, and GrubHub, ensuring they select the Great Neck location for delivery.
