“Krak”ing the Boba Tea Market: Krak Boba’s Rise and Unique Approach

Southern California-based boba franchise Krak Boba, established in 2020, has been steadily expanding its presence. Its recent openings in Longwood, Florida, and Eastvale, California, mark the 12th and 13th locations, with over 15 more in development. Krak Boba has gained momentum through its unique offerings and inclusive strategy, catering to both boba newcomers and enthusiasts alike.

A significant milestone for Krak Boba is its recent partnership with Sysco, a global food and non-food product distributor. This collaboration positions Sysco as Krak Boba’s primary distributor, facilitating the brand’s nationwide expansion.

Rob Schwartz, New Business Developer at Sysco’s Southern California Region, expressed Sysco’s pride in being selected as Krak Boba’s distributor. He highlighted Krak Boba’s passionate leadership, dedication to quality, and innovative recipes as key factors in this partnership.

Krak Boba distinguishes itself with a commitment to using the finest ingredients to craft signature boba teas. Notable flavors include “Dragon Slayer” with lychee, dragon fruit, and mango, and “Strawberry Matcha Latte” featuring strawberry and matcha.

What sets Krak Boba apart is its inclusive approach, captured in the concept of “PersonaliTEAs.” This concept aligns boba tea varieties with individuals’ tastes and lifestyles, making the selection process relatable and enjoyable. Krak Boba aims to appeal to a broad market spectrum, fostering connections from seasoned boba enthusiasts to first-time tea drinkers.

World Tea News spoke with Krak Boba CEO Tin Do to delve into the brand’s offerings and the growing popularity of boba in the U.S.
