Boba & Bao, the newly opened cafe on Station Road, Horsforth, has experienced an outpouring of support from the local community after announcing its opening in October. Taking over a former estate and lettings agency, the cafe features an extensive menu of drinks, including a variety of milk teas with tapioca pearls in flavors such as blueberry, matcha, and cookies and cream. Fruit teas, including passionfruit and lychee, as well as Yorkshire Rose tea, are also available.
The food menu, available for ordering after noon, highlights bao, a Chinese dish made with steamed buns. Various fillings, including belly pork, shredded duck, and tofu, are offered at Boba & Bao.
Expressing gratitude on social media, the Boba & Bao team shared a post on Instagram, thanking Horsforth residents for their overwhelming support. The post reads, “Thank you all so much for your wonderful support and kind messages on our opening day! We’re truly overwhelmed by the love and enthusiasm you’ve shown. Your smiles and feedback have made this day incredibly special.”
