Cordova’s bubble tea lovers have something new to sip on as Năm Café—formerly known as 5º Tea Bar—prepares to open its very first brick-and-mortar location at 8050 Dexter Road.
Set to debut in late May or early June, the milk tea-focused café is making a bold move from delivery-only service to a full-scale shop offering a wide menu of drinks and Vietnamese delights.
Originally operating as a delivery and pop-up business out of J3 Cajun Seafood in Mississippi, Năm Café is stepping into the Memphis metro area with a new name, a larger space, and a broader culinary vision. But at its heart, bubble tea remains the main attraction.
Known for its creamy milk teas, fruity bubble teas, and vibrant soda options, Năm Café is now expanding into a full menu that also includes pho, Korean-style bingsu, and other Vietnamese cuisine—all designed to complement their signature boba drinks.
“Tea and milk tea and drinks are our number one,” said co-owner Charles Hester, emphasizing that milk tea will continue to be the café’s cornerstone offering.
To match its new identity and menu expansion, the café underwent aesthetic renovations starting in March. The 3,469-square-foot space features a welcoming atmosphere and an outdoor patio, and will cater to night owls by staying open until 2 or 3 a.m. on weekends—perfect for those seeking a relaxed, alcohol-free hangout.
Năm Café’s debut marks more than just a name change—it’s a fresh chapter for a milk tea brand that’s been building loyal followers sip by sip.
