Eau Claire’s bubble tea scene is about to get a major upgrade with the arrival of Sweet Boba House, a new specialty shop set to open on Craig Road this spring.
Owned by former nurse Mai Vang, the shop aims to fill a gap in the local boba market by offering a diverse menu of milk teas, fruit teas, smoothies, and unique house specials.
Sweet Boba House will serve signature drinks like Strawberry Dream Milk Tea, Tiger Brown Sugar Milk Tea, and Blue Mint Oreo Smoothie, along with kid-friendly options and an extensive selection of toppings.
In addition to classics like tapioca pearls and popping boba, the shop will introduce savory and sweet cream toppings to elevate the bubble tea experience.
With renovations completed at the former Monster Scoop location, the team is finalizing the menu and preparing for a late April grand opening.
Mai hopes Sweet Boba House will become a beloved community spot, bringing people together over their favorite drinks while expanding Eau Claire’s growing love for boba.
