Candy Cloud, the popular boba, coffee, and creamery franchise, is expanding with a new location in Ortega Park. Located at 4495 Roosevelt Blvd., Suite 309.
The new Candy Cloud café will offer a variety of drinks, including boba, tea, shakes, frappes, and specialty beverages like plant-based caffeine options and lemonades.
Boba, a drink made with tea, milk, sugar, and tapioca pearls, will remain a key offering. The layout of the space will include a kitchen, prep area, accessible restrooms, and updated front-of-house finishes.
The franchise, operated by Thomas & Clark Investments LLC, led by Christopher Thomas of Saint Johns, is bringing its unique blend of boba, shakes, and sweet treats to Ortega Park, formerly known as Roosevelt Square.
The store will be located between SoFresh and Green Lake Chinese Restaurant, providing a convenient spot for both locals and visitors.
Candy Cloud started in 2019 when Alex and Paityn Edwards, inspired by their late daughter, began selling fresh flowers and later expanded into sweet treats and drinks.
The unexpected success of their drinks, including homemade horchata, strawberry lemonade, and iced coffee, led them to open their first storefront in March 2022 and start franchising in November 2022.
With locations in Illinois, Ohio, Tennessee, and Wisconsin, Candy Cloud is continuing to expand, with new stores coming soon in Florida, Illinois, Ohio, Texas, and Wisconsin.
