A fresh new spot in downtown Vancouver is combining the best of European-inspired bakery delights with the beloved flavors of bubble tea. Pressato, which opened just a week ago at 386 Robson St., occupies the former location of bubble tea and mochi donut shop Ikoi Cho (though the latter still operates at 5712 Tyne St.).
Pressato offers a delightful counter-service experience, featuring an array of European-style baked goods such as flaky croissants, rich cookies, and indulgent cakes. The highlight of the cafe, however, is its sandwich station, where customers can enjoy a selection of focaccia sandwiches filled with Italian deli meats, cheeses, and fresh vegetables.
Signature sandwiches on the menu include the Calabrian Inferno (spicy soppressata and stracciatella), Marseille (turkey and Brie), and Amalfi (pesto and greens). Situated in a block already filled with various eateries—including sushi joints, a gelateria, Korean fried chicken, and Straight Brooklyn pizza—Pressato adds a unique fusion of flavors to the vibrant neighborhood.
Open daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Pressato is the perfect destination for those craving both refreshing bubble tea and delicious European treats.
