Looking for something different than your usual iced coffee? Boba House in New Cairo offers a refreshing, pearly alternative that’s redefining what a boba spot can be. Located within Lakehouse The Club and open daily from 4 PM to 4 AM, Boba House is far from your typical Gen Z boba hangout.
Co-founded by Mostafa Beshr and Adel Afifi, Boba House aims to break the stereotype that boba is only for younger crowds. Beshr shares, “We want to show that boba is for anyone seeking a refreshing alternative to their usual coffee.” Their motto, “warm welcomes, authentic sips,” reflects this commitment to offering a drink that suits every taste and age group.
The menu features more than just your typical tapioca tea. Boba House’s signature Tiger Brown Sugar boba and creative seasonal specials like Pink Boba Lemonade, Kiwi, and Sour Green Apple boba bring a unique twist to traditional boba flavors. “We spent time perfecting authentic recipes with Taiwanese baristas, and we import our Assam and Jasmine tea leaves to ensure every drink stays true to its roots,” Beshr says.
For the perfect snack pairing, Boba House’s croffles are a must-try, and the trendy Matcha Coconut boba offers a healthier, calming alternative to coffee. “Matcha has become incredibly popular for its unique energy boost,” Beshr explains. “It keeps you energized without the jitters of coffee, reflecting the growing trend of healthier, mindful drinking.”
With minimalist décor featuring concrete, wood, and greenery, Boba House creates a serene environment that caters to people of all ages, whether you’re enjoying a peaceful afternoon or indulging late at night. “We wanted to create a space where everyone can enjoy our drinks,” Beshr concludes.
