The brand, founded by three Chinese expats, specializes in two delights – boba tea and sushi – blending them together in an unexpectedly harmonious way.
While the menu might seem focused, it offers an impressive variety of boba options, including classic favorites like brown sugar, coffee, and green tea boba. But what truly sets Country Tea apart is its specialty menu, featuring one-of-a-kind creations like Cherry Blossom Boba Milk, Potato Taro Purée Boba, Thai-Style Cake Milk Tea, and Cheese Green Grape Boom Boba.
Each flavor is carefully crafted by the passionate founders, Yan Jinshuang, Yan Jinfeng, and Yan Yan, who bring a piece of their homeland to Egypt with every cup.
The trio met in Changchun, China, and reunited in Egypt, where they launched Country Tea in early 2025, eager to share the tastes of their culture. Co-founder Yan Jinshuang explains, “I wanted to bring the taste of my country to Egypt. The people here are so warm and friendly, and running Country Tea gives me the opportunity to connect with many wonderful customers.”
