Sunright Tea Studio Closes Katy Asian Town Location, Expands With New Sugar Land Shop

Sunright Tea Studio, the popular boba brand, has officially closed its Katy Asian Town location as of late November, according to a recent Instagram post from the company. The shop, known for its wide selection of iced beverages including boba tea, milk tea, fruit teas, blended “frosties,” and coffee, had been a favorite for local fans of milk tea and boba drinks.

The closure marks the end of the Katy location at 23015 Colonial Parkway, Ste. B-201. However, the brand is expanding in the Houston area, having opened a new location in Sugar Land in mid-January. This new shop joins Sunright Tea Studio’s other thriving Houston-area store in Chinatown, continuing the brand’s growth in the region.
