Hong Kong’s premium bubble tea brand, Silk, has launched its first Boba Cafe in Kennedy Town, offering a refined experience that blends traditional bubble tea with exclusive, high-end offerings. Located in a vintage building, the café preserves the charm of the 1960s and 70s while incorporating contemporary elements.
The café features Silk’s signature drinks, such as the Smooth King, made with a 50-year-old Hong Kong-style milk tea recipe, black sugar boba, cheese cloud, and honeycomb. A unique creation exclusive to this location, the Smooth Sesame, combines black sesame milk, black sugar boba, cheese cloud, and charcoal powder.
In addition to premium beverages, the café showcases exclusive merchandise inspired by Hong Kong’s vintage fashion and culture. A special touch for visitors is the availability of retro mini cameras for capturing moments, adding to the café’s nostalgic appeal. With the new Kennedy Town location, Silk now operates five outlets in Hong Kong and one in Singapore.
