This Halloween, Starbucks Japan is taking its festive drinks to the next level, offering both a trick and treat with their latest creation. On 11 October, Starbucks kicked off its Halloween celebrations with a vibrant new Frappuccino, designed to resemble a blazing flame. This spooky beverage blends blueberry and raspberry-flavored sauces with a creamy condensed milk base, delivering a surprising combination that will delight your taste buds.
But the Halloween fun doesn’t stop there. A week after the Frappuccino’s debut, Starbucks Japan has introduced a thrilling new customization—the Pachi-Pachi Trick. Sold in colorful sachets priced at 108 yen (US$0.72) for takeout and 110 yen for dine-in, this add-on packs a fun, crackling surprise. Available in three mystery colors—red, blue, and orange—the sachets contain popping candy that gives the drink a fiery, crackling effect.
The Pachi-Pachi Trick is more than just a color surprise; the added crackle enhances the drink’s flame-like appeal, complementing the crunchy chocolate topping and mixed berry sauce. The sauce, which combines strawberry, raspberry, and cranberry, leaves a sharp and refreshing taste, making the experience even more exciting.
This Halloween-exclusive customization is available starting 18 October and will only be around as long as the Halloween Frappuccino is on the menu, until 31 October. Whether you’re in it for the treat or the trick, this limited-time drink is a must-try for anyone looking to add a little spark to their Halloween celebrations.
