Mixue Ice Cream & Tea Brings $1 Ice Cream And Affordable Drinks To Singapore: What To Expect

Mixue Ice Cream & Tea, the popular Chinese dessert brand, has launched its first outlet in Singapore, bringing its signature $1 vanilla and matcha ice creams to the heart of Yishun. Located at Junction Nine, the new outlet offers a range of budget-friendly treats, including bubble teas and one-litre juice buckets, all priced under S$4.50.

For fans of bubble tea, Bingxue’s arrival couldn’t come at a better time. With rising prices for bubble tea in Singapore, especially when toppings are added, the shop’s affordable menu is a welcome change. Known for its quality yet wallet-friendly offerings, Bingxue has become a favorite in regions like Johor Bahru and Shandong, China, where the brand originated. It has since grown to more than 3,000 outlets glo bally.

Bingxue’s $1 soft-serve ice cream is a must-try, available in vanilla, matcha, or a mixed swirl in a cone. At such a low price, it’s an easy way to beat Singapore’s heat while indulging in a tasty treat.

Beyond ice cream, Bingxue offers a variety of beverages, from traditional milk teas to refreshing fruit-infused drinks. Popular items include the Matcha Red Bean Milk Tea (S$3), Brown Sugar Bubble Tea (S$3), and Supreme Milk Tea (S$3.50), the latter loaded with pearls, coconut jelly, and red bean for extra flavor.

For those seeking something a little different, Bingxue’s one-litre juice buckets offer another way to quench your thirst. Customers can choose between the Grape Juice (S$4) or the Rainbow Fresh Fruit Juice (S$4.50), the latter featuring a vibrant blend of watermelon, orange, passionfruit, lemon, and lime. Though it’s the priciest item on the menu, its fresh, colorful ingredients make it worth every cent.

Bingxue also keeps things exciting with monthly drink specials. While the details for November’s drink remain a secret, sources hint it will feature a panda theme, giving patrons another reason to return regularly.

The Yishun outlet is just the beginning for Bingxue in Singapore. A second location is already set to open at Changi City Point on October 15, 2024, expanding its reach and bringing its signature treats to more neighborhoods across the island.
