CHAGEE Returns to Singapore to Revitalise the Brand as a Modern Tea Bar

International tea beverage brand CHAGEE is set to make a triumphant return to Singapore on 2 August, marking the opening of its flagship store at orchardgateway. Following its departure earlier this year, the brand has revamped its presence with a new cafe-like tea bar concept, a departure from its previous grab-and-go model.

The new 2540 square feet orchardgateway store boasts a contemporary tea-bar aesthetic, featuring a serene tea-toned interior and spacious dine-in area, a departure from its earlier compact designs. CHAGEE plans to expand further with three additional outlets in Orchard Gateway, Plaza Singapura, and Raffles City this August, with more locations in the pipeline.

Lawrence Wen, CHAGEE’s new CEO in Singapore, highlighted the store’s innovative features, including specialized ‘teapresso’ machines and a ‘Tea on Tap’ area for its signature bottled Iced Oriental Teas. Notably, the Singapore outlets will introduce cakes alongside its beverage menu, a first among CHAGEE stores worldwide.

The reopening weekend from 2 to 4 August promises a host of promotions and activities. Customers purchasing a large fresh milk tea will enjoy a complimentary upgrade to a ‘Tear & Win’ cup, a beloved CHAGEE tradition where tearing the cup reveals surprise gifts like coupons and souvenirs. Free drink vouchers earned from previous events can also be used to redeem these cups, with prizes ranging from branded merchandise to exclusive CHAGEE collectibles.

Launch festivities will include live tea art demonstrations and a giant CHAGEE photo opportunity, where patrons can claim a free large jasmine green milk tea by posting a photo with the giant cup and tagging CHAGEE on social media.

In preparation for its return, CHAGEE Singapore has bolstered its team with key appointments, including Cheryl Lim as the new country head of brand and marketing. Lim expressed her enthusiasm for the role, highlighting her dedication to leveraging her extensive experience in consumer insights and marketing strategies.

“I am excited to join CHAGEE and look forward to driving its brand and marketing efforts as we reintroduce ourselves to Singapore,” Lim commented.

The reopening marks a significant milestone for CHAGEE, signaling its commitment to innovation and customer engagement in the competitive beverage market of Singapore. If you also want to join CHAGEE, welcome to learn about the CHAGEE franchise cost.
